1966 - May 22, First Mass for Deltona Catholic Mission of St. Ann's Church, was celebrated at the Deltona Community Center by Father Patrick Malone, a priest from St. Peter Catholic Church.
1967 - August, Father John Condon was appointed Pastor of St. Ann and Our Mission, on October 17th. The Women's Guild held their first meeting. On October 18, the Holy Name Society was organized.
1968 - The Diocese of Orlando was created. First Bishop of the Diocese was the Most Reverend William D. Borders, installed on June 18th. Bishop Border is still living and is the Archbishop emeritus of Baltimore.
1969 - March, Father Condon launched a successful building fund campaign for the Church in Deltona. In December, Father James Edwards was assigned to replace Father Condon as Pastor of St. Ann and the Deltona Mission.
1970 - May 24, Ground-breaking ceremonies were held on land donated by the Mackle Brothers. On June 6, Father William G. Corry was appointed Pastor and the parish was named, Our Lady of the Lakes.
1971 - March 1, The first Mass at Our Lady of the Lakes was celebrated in the Church Hall. March 13 at 5:00 p.m., the first Mass was celebrated in the Church.
1972 - The first rectory, now the office building, was completed.
1973 - Father Manuel Fernandez was appointed Associate Pastor on June 1 and served until January 1, 1976.
1974 - February 23, Father Matthew Connolly was appointed Pastor to succeed Father William Corry and served until February 15, 1983.
1976 - Father Walter Michalik, C.S.C., succeeded Father Fernandez as Associate Pastor on January 24 and served until May 31, 1983. On April 11, Father Connolly launched a successful campaign for a Social Center/Education Building which was completed in December 1977.
1983 - January, Father Connolly was transferred to the Tribunal Office of the Diocese. February 15, Father William Killian was appointed Pastor and served until January 15, 1989.
1984 - Father Hugo Londono was appointed as Associate Pastor on July 30, 1984, and served until October 15, 1992. In the Fall, Father Killian started renovation to enlarge the Church and in September 1985 it was completed.
1989 - January 15, Father Michael F. Hanrahan was appointed Pastor and served until June 30, 1998.
1991 - March 3, plans were made for a Religious Education Building, a Rectory, and renovations to the Parish Office. They were completed January 19, 1992, Bishop Norbert Dorsey dedicated the buildings in 1994. Our Associates were Msgr. Michael Conway and Reverend Eduardo Benitez. In August, Sister Ita Hennelly and Sister Philomena Noone, Sisters of Mercy were appointed.
1998 - August, Bishop Dorsey appointed Father Edward J. McCarthy as Pastor. Our Associate Priests were Father Harry Wallace and Father Esau N. Garcia, C.P.
2000 - July 1, Father Ralph DuWell succeeded Father Garcia as the new Parochial Vicar and served our Parish until late 2004.
2002 - March 4, a very successful capital improvement project was in the works to have a new roof placed on the Church, Social Hall, renovation of the Church's interior and a new gathering area.
2005 - February, Father Alvaro Jimenez welcomed as Parochial Vicar and served our Parish until June 2010.
2006 - July, Father Frank Cerio is welcomed as our newest Parochial Vicar.
2007- February, Father Joseph L. Roberts was appointed Parochial Administrator succeeding Father Edward McCarthy.
2008 - August 17, Father Joseph L. Roberts was installed as the sixth Pastor of Our Lady of the Lakes by Most Reverend Thomas G. Wenski, D.D.
2009 - January, an Adoration Chapel was completed in the former Church Hall. 10 original stained glass windows from various locations in the Church building were moved into the Chapel.
2011 - October 1, Father Francisco Aquino was appointed Parish Administrator succeeding Father Joseph Roberts.
